In a statement published Thursday morning, the Command of Kabarda, Balkaria and Karachai Province of the Caucasus Emirate reported the Martyrdom of Amir Saifullah (Anzor Astemirov) Wednesday night, March 24, 2010.
The statement of the command of United Province of Kabarda, Balkaria and Karachai states that Emir Saifullah has never stayed behind the Mujahideen and always fought infidels on the frontline. The statement has also indicates that Emir Saifullah has been killed during a battle in the Kabardino-Balkarian capital of Nalchik:
"Of the believers are men who are true to the covenant which they made with Allah: so of them is he who accomplished his vow, and of them is he who yet waits, and they have not changed in the least".

"Tonight, our brother, Emir of the United Province of Kabarda, Balkaria and Karachai, Qadi (Chief Judge) of the Caucasus Emirate, Saifullah Abu Imran Anzor bin Eldar Astemir became a Martyr, God's willing".
"Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return".

Today, many Muslims are saddened by the news. Emir was known to many, both in the Caucasus, and in the Muslim world. They knew him personally, even in peacetime, when he was giving sermons in one of the mosques in Nalchik.
The statement says that in the course of the Jihad, the Holy War, Emir Saifullah headed the Kabarda-Balkarian Sector of the Caucasus Front and later the United Province of Kabarda, Balkaria and Karachai.
Still later, the Emir of the Caucasus Emirate Dokku Umarov appointed him as the Qadi of the Caucasus Emirate.
"Emir Saifullah played one of the leading roles in establishing the Caucasus Emirate. He worked much in correcting the Aqidah (Faith) of Muslims. He was called Imam of Muwahideen (leader of monotheists). He was meek with Muslims and severe to apostates and infidels", the statement says.
Therefore, we appeal today to the Muslims. Do not be sad and weakened! Surely we are Allah's and to Him we shall surely return.
The Almighty Allah said:
"If a wound has afflicted you, a wound like it has also afflicted the (unbelieving) people; and We bring these days to men by turns, and that Allah may know those who believe and take witnesses from among you; and Allah does not love the unjust. And that He may purge those who believe and deprive the unbelievers of blessings".
(The Holy Quran, Surah 3. "The Family Of Imran", verses 140-141)
The Almighty Allah also said:
"And how many a prophet has fought with whom were many worshippers of the Lord; so they did not become weak-hearted on account of what befell them in Allah's way, nor did they weaken, nor did they abase themselves; and Allah loves the patient".

Since the time of the Caucasian War, there has been no such leader of Muslims among Circassian peoples who enjoyed such respect and authority as Emir Saifullah.
Today, the Emir has gone. One of the noblest sons of Islam martyred. But praise be to Allah, he left after him a worthy generation of Muwahideen and brave Mujahideen, who will continue the Jihad and will fight the people of infidels, until they are chased from our land.
Today, infidels and apostates rejoice their "success", but we are also rejoicing. They rejoice a false victory, and we rejoice that our elder brother finally received what he sought for so long and what is being sought by every Mujahid. He always went bravely forwards, setting an example for his subordinates, and he won.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said:
"The best of the Shuhadaa (Martyrs) are those who fight in the frontlines, and do not turn away their faces until they are killed. They will be thrown into the highest rooms of Paradise, and Allah will laugh at them. And when your Lord laughs at a slave in a certain instance, then there is no account for him".
(Imam Akhmad with Saheeh chain (Saheeh al-Jami 1118))
When the Emir of the Mujahideen of the Caucasus, Dokka Abu Usman, proclaimed the ,Caucasus Emirate, Emir Saifullah said: "We believe that we gained the main thing, the Tawhid, and an assistance from the Almighty Allah. With His help, we will overcome all the difficulties, to Him alone we serve and in Him alone we trust".
Today, the Emir martyred, God's willing. His path of life stopped. But the Jihad goes on, and it will not stop till the Day of Judgment.
Allah says:
"Say: Do you await for us but one of two most excellent things? And we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or by our hands. So wait; we too will wait with you".
(The Holy Quran, Surah 9. "The Repentance", verse 52)
Almighty Allah also says:
"O you who believe! shall I lead you to a merchandise which may deliver you from a painful chastisement? You shall believe in Allah and His Apostle, and struggle hard in Allah's way with your property and your lives; that is better for you, did you but know! He will forgive you your faults and cause you to enter into gardens, beneath which rivers flow, and goodly dwellings in gardens of perpetuity; that is the mighty achievement; And yet another (blessing) that you love: help from Allah and a victory near at hand; and give good news to the believers".
(The Holy Quran, Surah 61. "The Ranks", verses 10-13)
