The Polish TV channel TVN 24, with reference to eyewitness of the crash near Smolensk, as a result of which the President of Poland Kaczynski died, reported on the atmosphere that prevails on the spot of the plane crash.

"The plane was completely destroyed. Burning fragments of the plane are scattered in the woods. A chaos prevails, a lot of emergency services arrived - such is the situation at the crash site near the airport in Smolensk, where not a single Pole survived. Indescribable chaos also prevails in the airport.

You hear sharp signals of emergency services vehicles. There were 96 people on board, including 8 crew members. An eyewitness, who saw the crash, said that the plane broke into several parts, which burnt. The engines burnt separately.

The eyewitness said the plane was trying to land in a very thick fog. The engine power was increased. The left wing struck a tree. The plane fell 1,5 km from the airport. Then there was a powerful explosion.

The photos of the disaster, which were taken by the eyewitness, have been seized by the FSB.

- Numerous FSB agents set up a dense cordon around the crash site and don't allow journalists to approach it- said the "Facts" programme correspondent Andrzej Zaucha live on the TVN24. And he added: - A gloomy atmosphere reigns at the crash site".

Meanwhile, the Polish state news agency PAP reported that Polish authorities do not trust Russian investigators, especially the FSB-KGB, the bloody murderers of more than unarmed 15,000 Polish prisoners of war near Smolensk in 1940. The agency reports:

"The Poles themselves will investigate the crash at Smolensk of the Polish presidential plane at Smolensk with the presidential pair on board. That command was given by the Attorney General Andrew Seremet at the request of the Minister of Justice, the Minister Krzysztof Kwiatkowski said.

According to Kwiatkowski, the Polish Foreign Ministry demanded the Russian side to allow Polish prosecutors an access to the site.

It was also announced that the investigators will have a full access to the wreckage of the aircraft.

"The prosecutor Seremet agreed to my request for a separate Polish investigation - regardless of Russian investigations" - Kwiatkowski added.

"The Attorney General is in constant contact with the Minister of Justice. He has already formed a team of prosecutors, who is ready to go to Smolensk, the PAP reports.

It is to be mentioned that in November 2008, during the Russian aggression against Georgia, the Polish President Kaczynski was attacked by Russian troops.

The attack occurred in Akhalgori, when at Akhalgorsk checkpoint in the Tskhinvali zone of the Georgian-Russian conflict a motorcade of Presidents of Poland and Georgia came under fire.

According to the vice-premier and the head of the Polish MIA Grzegorz Schetyna, officers of the Bureau of the Government Security, who were ensuring the security of the Polish President, "were purposefully excluded from the vicinity of the president."

Grzegorz Schetyna noted that after the incident with the shooting on the border to South Ossetia "personal and organizational conclusions had to be made. The dangerous precedent should not be repeated", - said the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Polish President Lech Kaczynski was in Georgia to participate in the celebrations to mark the fifth anniversary of the "Rose Revolution". Straight from the Tbilisi airport Lech Kaczynski went to a refugee camp, which suffered during the August military conflict in the Caucasus.

Lech Kaczynski told reporters after an incident that the shellings in Akhalgori came from a Russian checkpoint at approximately 30 meters from him.
