KGB reports about successful sabotage operation of Mujahideen at Baksan hydroelectric power station

Publication time: 23 July 2010, 12:52

According to the Russian terrorist organization of Investigation Committee, a subsidiary of the KGB, at least 6 Caucasian Mujahideen in masks and camouflage cloths participated in the operation aimed on the destruction of the Baksan hydroelectric power station.

How many Mujahideen attacked simultaneously the den of the MIA near the station to divert the attention of Russian invaders, and how much puppet policemen have been neutralized in this anti-terrorist operation, was not reported.

All three generators in the main control room and a hydro power substation, located near the main building, were totally destroyed by the explosions.

The eliminated puppets are: 1 warrant officer and 1 police sergeant. Their weapons were seized as trophies.

The explosives were made of ammonium nitrate and aluminum powder. In order to bring them into action, the Mujahideen used clocked and remote-controlled mechanisms of detonation.

The total power of bombs planted by Mujahideen at the enemy hydroelectric power station was about ten kilograms TNT.

Around 05:00 a.m., the blasts destroyed (see photo) 3 generators, then the fire destroyed the building. At 9:00 a.m., the building of the substation and all equipment, which it contained, was destroyed by an explosion.

The amount of damages caused to Russia, according to very low official figure given by the KGB, is not less than $ 50 million.

The hydroelectric power station has been destroyed entirely, was forced to admit a Putin's deputy Sechin, who said: "A new Baksan hydroelectric power station will be built".

For the construction of a new station at a site of old one, the invaders of the Caucasus Emirate will need, according to very low enemy figures, not less than four years.

Meanwhile, several Russian commentators said that the sabotage at the Baksan hydroelectric power station signals that soon attacks could be expected on larger facilities. In this regard, some Russian analysts pointed out that now it cannot be completely ruled out that last year's explosion at the Sayan-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station was a sabotage operation by the Caucasian Mujahideen, and not a so-called technological accident.
