
Mujahideen executed French engineer Germaneau in response to an attack of French commandos
The press office of the Islamic Maghreb (North Africa) in the evening of July 25 reported the execution of a French engineer Michel Germaneau, who was previously captured by the Mujahideen. In a report in English particularly said:

The French engineer is dead! The Mujahideen killed that infidel in response to the crimes committed by the French special forces on the military camps of Al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb!

It is to be mentioned that, according to the Islamic media, at 3:46 dawn time on July 22 at 3:46, 54 soldiers belonging to the French special forces attacked a military base of the Mujahideen fighters in the Sahara desert on the border of Mali. They tried to free the French hostages.
