Mujahideen supposedly used Afghan tactics. Fatalities among puppets in Russian stooge's hometown are much higher

Publication time: 30 August 2010, 17:39

KC's sources reported from Chechnya about 40 wounded puppet soldiers from the Kadyrov's hometown of Khosi-Yurt who had been delivered to various hospitals in the Chechen capital of Jokhar (former Grozny). No exact figures on the number of wounded puppet soldiers who were delivered to local hospitals in the towns of Gudermes and Shali are available at the moment.

It is reported that some of the wounded puppets already died.

Obviously, the fatalities among Kadyrovites are much higher than the figures given by Russian occupiers and their minions.

It is to be recalled that the puppet ringleader Kadyrov does not even recognize the figures provided by the occupation gang of the "investigation committee" and still claims that only 2 policemen were killed and 4 villager wounded.

The occupation gang of the "investigation committee" reported "final figures on casualties". According to their claims, 6 Kadyrov's policemen were killed and 18 others wounded during the raid of the Mujahideen. In addition, 7 other villagers were injured. What they are, the Russians didn't say.

Thus, the total "official" casualties of the puppets make 31 elements.

Meanwhile, the Mujahideen reported during their first telephone contact on Sunday morning that "a targeted sweep" had been carried out, several homes of puppets burnt and at least 5 elements close to Kadyrov eliminated in a special operation in the Khosi-Yurt village. Moreover, at least 10 puppet soldiers were eliminated during the battle in the village.

The Mujahideen command also said that the statement of invaders and puppets about killing 12 Mujahideen in the battle had been a plain lie. The combat losses of the Mujahideen are 3 dead and 2 missing fighters.

On Monday afternoon, representative of Emir Zaurbek told a KC's source on the phone that a group of martyrs had participated in the special operation in the Kadyrov's hometown of Khosi-Yurt. There is no further information on the sublect at the moment, since the contact was short.

It can be assumed from the information received so far by the KC that during the raid in Khosi-Yurt, the Caucasian Mujahideen used tactics of the Mujahideen of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, when a part or the whole unit consists of martyr fidais attacking targets of the invaders.

At the moment, it is known that at least 3 Mujahideen units led by commanders Mahran, Zaurbek and Abdurrahman with a total number of 60 fighter took part in the operation. However, a detailed course of the battle and tactics used by the Mujahideen are not yet clear.

It is known that an APC was destroyed and 6 puppet soldiers were killed at the entrance to Khosi-Yurt. It is also known that the Mujahideen entered the village and stayed there for about an hour.

According to additional information received on Monday afternoon, there could have been a group of martyrs of 5 to 10 fighters when the Mujahideen unit entered the village. Another task of this martyrs' group, in addition to its main task of a simultaneous attack on the puppets, was to cover the retreat of the main forces of the Mujahideen.

Information continues to come in that Kadyrovites executed several hostages from among the young men who had been held in secret prisons on the territory of Khosi-Yurt. There are at least 4 prisons in the village.

According to various sources, 7 to 10 persons were executed and their bodies blown up.

The KC continues to monitor the situation.

Meanwhile, as of Monday evening of August 30, nobody is allowed to leave the village of Khosi-Yurt.

Some Russian news agencies, the Caucasian Knot among them, write:

"Initially, authorities reported that a fight with a group of militants occurred on the outskirts of the settlement, now it seems that the shootout occurred in center of the village which is protected not only by the Chechen security forces, but also by the Russian army. The attack of militants on the Kadyrov's village of Tsentaroi (Khosi-Yurt) was a complete surprise both for the population of Chechnya and the representatives of power structures.

"Relatives of my neighbor live in Khosi-Yurt. They were supposed to come to him for some business yesterday, but they phoned and said that they won't come because nobody is allowed to leave the village.

They would come only in three or four days, when the situation eases. Also, it seems that the village was not attacked by 12 to 15 militants, as claimed by Kadyrov and his security forces, but by a much larger group. Nobody yet knows how many they were as well as where the militants had gone to after the attack", a Grozny (Jokhar) resident Said-Ahmad said to the correspondent of the Caucasian Knot.

Some local experts believe that, despite an emphasized triumphant tone of Kadyrov telling about the repulse of the attack on his village, the Mujahideen operation significantly undermined the credibility and image of Ramzan Kadyrov.

"Until recently, Ramzan Kadyrov always claimed that only a few dozen militants remained in the mountains, that they were divided and had neither strength nor human resources nor the ability to carry out any serious operations and that they would be completely destroyed in the near future.

The fact that a unit of militants managed to penetrate the well-guarded village and to fight there for several hours gives quite a different picture. It turns out that claims about the "death" of the armed underground were greatly exaggerated", said one of the analysts who prefers to remain anonymous.

In his view, Mujahideen delivered a rather painful blow to the image and pride of puppet authorities, and mostly to Kadyrov.

"Dokku Umarov, "dying from hunger and diseases", and warlords, living in earth holes, together with Arab mercenaries, who are interested only in money, as Kadyrov said, were able to carry out a large-scale operation", the analyst, interviewed by the Caucasian Knot, said.
