Two huge brawls within three days occurred in the center of the Adygian capital of Maikop in the Caucasus Emirate. On September 6, several dozen young people staged a brawl right in front of city puppet "court" in the city center. The court is located one block away from the building of the puppet administration of Maikop and the gang of "city police department".
Russian sources report that brawl occurred between Russians and Adygheans. Some media outlets specify that there was another mass brawl 3 days before.
Puppet authorities claim that the conflict allegedly occurred because of a girl. However, some representatives of local puppets tried to hide the fact that the fight was between Russian and Adygheans. They said that "other representatives of other North Caucasus republics" were involved in the brawl.
Meanwhile, mass brawls between Russian and Adygheans in Adyghea occur more and more frequently.
The previous brawl occurred on August 13 in Maikop near the city hospital.
The clash involved local Adygheans on the one side, and members of pro-Russian Kuban Cossack organizations, on the other side. According to some information, so-called skinheads were also brawling on the side of pro-Russian Cossacks.
Traffic in that area of the city, which is one of the busiest, was paralyzed for a few hours because of the mass brawl.
The fight stopped after the police arrived. No information is available on the victims. Russian media outlets kept silent about the fact of a mass brawl.
Eyewitnesses report that a Lada car was destroyed. The car was used by Russian participants of the brawl to arrive to the scene of ethnic violence.
