On the photo: The leader of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb Abu Musab Abdul Wadud and Mujahideen in northern Mali
Last week, the Mujahideen of an ally of al-Qaeda, Ansar al-Din Movement, destroyed two more pagan temples, so-called tombs, in the mosque of local sectarians Djingareyber in Timbuktu.
International media report that Mujahideen rightly consider the deification of creatures as idolatry, but Western community, known for its calls for democracy, freedom of speech, freedom of expression and freedom of religion (in the US and Europe, for example, Satanists are absolutely free to act), have strongly opposed Al Qaeda's fight against polytheism, writes UmmaNews.
The UN Security Council warned to designate the destruction of pagan cults as "war crimes" and referred the case to the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague.
The global democracy is concerned that the "moderate and tolerant" Islam, honoring so-called "saints", which in fact has nothing to do with Islam as such, is "rich in national traditions" that are "endangered" in Mali.
A US professor William G Moseley suddenly got worried about "harm" allegedly inflicted on Muslims. In his article published on Al-Jazeera, he, inter alia, writes:
"Make no doubt about it, this is not a divinely endorsed action..., but an externally financed religious colonial aggression designed to get rid and destroy local inspirations and practices", says the professor from America whose government is engaged in nothing else but in real religious colonial aggression and tries to get rid and destroy Islam in Muslim countries, imposing democracy by military force.
"We all have a role to play in solving this problem, continues the American professor. - Those foreigners ... who are financing AQIM and Ansar Dine should carefully think over the harm they are inflicting on innocent people in this part of the world, most of whom are Muslims ... The international community, including ECOWAS and the UN, must send peacekeepers to northern Mali to stop ... destruction of cultural artefacts...".
The stand of the Mujahideen in this matter is quite different. We present an interview with the spokesman of Ansar al-Din, Sanda Ould Bouamama (see photo), published by the Sky News.
Sky News: I asked you who gives you, in Ansar Al-Din Movement, the right to violate these historical locations?
Sanda Ould Bouamama (Sob): The right if given from the one who has the right.
Sky News: Who is the one who has that right?
Sob: The messenger (pbuh) and the Sharia. They are the ones who have the right.
Sky News: That is based on what?
Sob: Of course, in the authentic Hadith narrated by Moslem from Abu Al-Hayja'a: "Should I not send you on the same mission as Allah's Messenger (pbuh) sent me?" - the Hadith mentions - "a high grave without leveling It". And now were adjusting the graves, only that.
Sky News: Mr. Boamma, these are historical landmarks which have been kept on the UNESCO list of World Heritage in Danger and calls from different parties to stop these actions. You in the Ansar Al-Din Movement, what is that status that you have to take such a decision?
Sob: Our status is that we were ordered to change the vice and found the power to change by hand, and this degree we are required to achieve it as much as possible. It's a vice to see people circling around graves and making human bodies that have worn gods worshiped beside Allah, asking them for money, children and jobs. This is ridiculous, and stinking to it is ridiculous than the issue itself.
Sky News: It's ridiculous according to you, but there is an international consensus and international organizations considered these landmarks ancient cites of cultural heritage and a cultural significance. The question is why do you act unilaterally towards these locations?
Sob: Our reference isn't the international laws or the UN or the UNESCO. Our reference is the Sharia. I propose to you another question. Does the Sharia approves or demands from us what we did or rejects it. If that answer is the Sharia demands from us what we did, then we have did a purely Sharia matter and we raised our arms to achieve this matter and implement the order of Allah on His land.
But if you say to me that the UN and international organizations, we aren't concerned of these organizations and aren't interested in them, and their satisfaction upon us is a endorsement, which means that their discontent upon us is a recommendation, and their satisfaction is considered a libel in our Aqeeda because Allah Almighty says:
"And the Jews will not be pleased with you, nor the Christians until you follow their religion".
All these calls come from the Jews and Christians and their followers and lackeys, who claim to be Muslims.
What is the value of these walls? Aren't there in Timbuktu walls inside it living beings? Why this concern about the graves more than those alive?
