The Obama administration has put national security at risk, betraying allies for the "reset" with Russia, said US presidential candidate of the Republican Party, Mitt Romney.
"The operating principle of American foreign policy has been to work with our allies so that we can deter aggression before it breaks out into open conflict. That policy depends on nurturing our alliances and standing up for our common values. But the president has gone in the opposite direction. US presidential candidate also said that Obama is responsible for arisen national security threat, because his aides "leak" secret information for their own benefit.
Romney has repeatedly made statements about the dangers of US rapprochement with Russia. The first such statements were made before the start of the primaries. Then, on the site of Romney was published his electoral program, in which he promised in the case coming to power to "curb" Moscow.
First, he is going to revise the plans to deploy missile defense systems in Europe and elsewhere, taking into account the interests of the United States. The Republican also intends to support the European countries to reduce their dependence on Russian oil and gas.
