Evil Russian empire strikes back in Syrian Aleppo

Publication time: 28 July 2012, 14:18

Russia backed Alawite forces have launched a ground assault in the largest city Aleppo, and are bombarding liberated areas with Russian-made heavy artillery.

Battered and burnt-out Russian-made tanks littered one of the main roads into the commercial capital. The move marked the beginning of the expected assault by the Alawite Russian puppets on the city.

The puppet army poured troops into the southwest of the city on Saturday.

The evil Assad's army troops moved on the Salaheddine district, where the largest number of freedom fighters are based.

The fiercest clashes of the uprising are taking place in several neighborhoods of the city. The fightback by the Russian empire with its military base in the Syrian port of Tartus has begun.

A freedom fighters' commander was one of two opposition fighters who were killed by the Russian puppets in clashes on Saturday. Ten regime soldiers were meanwhile terminated.

The puppet troops are raking Salaheddine with heavy machine gun fire as they advanced on the neighborhood, which has been a stronghold of freedom fighters since they liberated large parts of Syria's second city on July 20.

Russian-made tanks, helicopter gunships and warplanes have poured into Aleppo over the last two days with Satan's Alawite troops firing on a string of liberated neighborhoods in the battle to control the commercial hub of 2.5 million people.

But in the surrounding countryside, the balance of power is changing fast. Free Syrian Army fighters have taken control of them while the puppet army has largely disappeared. Some neighborhoods in Aleppo have become battlefields, especially the neighborhood of Salaheddine in the southwest.

The battle for Aleppo has really begun.
