At least 14 Russian invaders killed or injured in Chechnya in twin Martyrdom attacks

Publication time: 6 August 2012, 17:58

Two Martyrdom bombings in Chechnya killed at least 8 Russian invaders and injured 6 others on Monday, according to Russian media reports. The Russians always understate their military losses.

4 invaders were killed in explosions and 3 others injured when their armored vehicle travelling between the garrison town of Khankala and the capital Jokhar (former Grozny) made a stop at a roadside checkpoint and they went out from the vehicle. The blast was detonated by a Martyrdom bomber with an explosive-laden belt.

Another 4 invaders were terminated and 3 others injured in a Martyrdom bombing attack at the entrance to a shop for Russian military personnel in Jokhar a few minutes later.
