Another unit of Free Syrian Army joined the Mujahideen of Jubhat al-Nusra

The CIA monitoring service reported with reference to Islamic sources that the Mujahideen of Jubhat al-Nusra/Victory Front captured in the city of Aleppo (see map) a large number of gas masks used by chemical forces of the Assad regime. They were seized in an attack on a logistics convoy of Alawite air defense, the UmmaNews says.

At the same time, it turned out, that Jubhat al-Nusra formed its own air defense system that will defend Muslim neighborhoods of the city from Assad air forces.

In addition, it now becomes clear that a Russian-made Alawite MiG-23 was shot down by the Mujahideen of Jubhat al-Nusra on August 13 and not by freedom fighters of the FSA. Three helicopters of Assad forces were shot down as well.

Meanwhile, the situation in the town of Al-Bukamal (see map) in the eastern province of Deir al-Zour near Syrian-Iraqi border began to turn favorable for the Free Syrian Army and the Mujahideen who seized an Alawite base there in a blitz attack on Friday.

According to the reports, the Mujahideen seized an arsenal of portable anti-aircraft missile systems. 18 to 50 militants of Assad's Alawis have been recently captured. It is reported that it was for a third time that the base had been attacked. A video footage on the captured base posted on YouTube.

Some time ago, the CIA monitoring service reported with reference to Islamic sources that the Mujahideen possess anti-aircraft guns and armored cars which made it possible for them to help freedom fighters to chase out the Alawites from Al- Al-Bukamal and to protect themselves against air strikes from Assad air forces.

In the north, armed Muslims attacked Alawite checkpoints and units. The Alawite regime actively uses aircraft, causing casualties among innocent civilians. However, the air units of polytheists themselves often become targets of Islamic fighters. Recently, the Mujahideen managed to shoot down several aircraft and helicopters.

On Monday, the Alawites attacked the province of Aleppo, killing at least 25 Muslims. According to BBC News referring to opposition activists, Assad air forces bombed a house in the city of Al-Bab (see map) and killed women and children. Some bodies are still under the rubble.

"Our brave armed forces continue to pursue the terrorists, who are being hit hard", reports the Alawite SANA news agency.

Al-Bab, which is largely under the control of armed Muslims, suffered in recent weeks from massive bombings.

According to the same source, Assad began using attack aircraft and helicopters out of sheer desperation to defeat the freedom fighters. The Alawite ringleader uses new tactics of mass murders

Fighting is going on in Damascus as well. A representative of the FSA, Ahmad al-Khatib, said the rebels used the tactics of "hit-and-run". According to him, a mobile division of the FSA is rapidly growing in numbers in the Syrian capital.

Meanwhile, the Free Syrian Army units continue to join the Mujahideen. Some time after the FSA al-Qaqa Brigade gave the oath of allegiance to Jubhat al-Nusra, there was some joint military operations of this Islamic movement with another FSA unit of Ahrar-al-Sham, as is shown in the video below.

The video was posted on YouTube at the end of August. The commentary to the clip says that it has been filmed in the city of Aleppo. It shows a joint operation of the Mujahideen of Jubhat al-Nusra and the FSA Brigade of Ahrar al-Sham. The operator also speaks about that at 3:23 on the video.
