Many experts in the West have noticed that in recent years Putin has become strongly inadequate. Experts on Russia explain this by saying that Putin has been badly scared because of mass protests in December when many participants promised that he will be soon hanged on the model of Saddam, or just killed on the model of Gaddafı, and still Putin cannot come back to his senses and recover.
In this case, according to doctors, he has no chances to be cured because of his age. Over time, the inadequacy of the patient will only progress. The story of the Siberian Crane merely confirms the diagnosis.
Experts also recall that Putin started suddenly crying at his pro-Putin's rally in Moscow on March 5 this year, with no reason,.
Putin's inadequacy has been also noticed also by a newly appointed boss of the Russian Service of the US Congress-funded Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty (RFE / RL) Masha Gessen, who met him last week.
The London Times reports in its issue of September 14:
"Putin wants to own a vast number of things", Gessen said explaining Putin's summons. "He feels that he owns the Vokrug Sveta, a popular science magazine, and suddenly there was a problem in his household".
Gessen wrote a book The Man Without a Face, chronicles Putin's rise to power, starting from his childhood and has been printed in several languages.
It levels a number of allegations, including theft by Putin of millions of dollars while he worked in Saint Petersburg in the 1990s, and involvement of security services loyal to him in various crimes and terror attacks.
She said she believed Putin did not know about her book or her highly critical commentary on current events, which includes a weekly column in the New York Times.
"I have a feeling that he did not know who I am", she said.
For its part, the Russian Service of the BBC News noted that Gessen called the meeting "very strange".
