Western aggressors suffer heavy losses at Shorab base in Afghanistan. Video

Publication time: 15 September 2012, 22:43

The Arabic language service of The Voice of Jihad reported on new information around the reprisal attack against Shorab base.

According to an account at 1:15 pm by one of the coordinators, the enemy suffered heavy human and material loses at the huge Shorab base in the Helmand province.

The operation began on 14th September at 10:00 pm, when Mujahideen fedayeen launched a successful, well planned attack on the base armed with RPGs, AK assault rifles, hand grenades and explosives vests. The Mujahideen split up into several groups (see the video).

The Khalid bin Walid group was tasked with attacking the barracks housing enemy soldiers and the Umar bin Khattab group was tasked with targeting the landing strips for helicopters and destroying helicopters and military vehicles and their occupants.

Enemy soldiers were shot with weapons equipped with silencers. This killed large number soldiers. The battle lasted until midnight. Another group then arrived and launched their attack against the base. A fierce battle ensued with the use of heavy weapons. Huge explosions came from inside of the base.

The latest news said that smoke clouds were billowing from the base. According to eyewitnesses, who lived nearby, a huge explosion thundered from within the base toward the end of the day on Saturday 15th September.

It is to be recalled that the Shorab base is one of the largest bases belonging to Western aggressors in Afghanistan. Thousands of American and British soldiers, as well as, members of Karzai's army are based there.

The base is divided into three sectors: the first for the Americans, the second for the British and the third for the puppets.

The base occupies an important strategic position and coordinates air and ground operations against the Mujahideen in south-west Afghanistan. Recently, British Prince Harry arrived in Afghanistan to take part in killing Muslims. According to reports, he has a large and well-armed security detail.

According to the latest news, Prince Harry was at the base at the time of the attack, but they were not able to get concrete information of his whereabouts in order to find and kill him, as previously warned by the IEA Mujahideen.

Zabiullah Mujahid, the press secretary of the Islamic Emirate, confirmed in an interview with journalists, that the Mujahideen have been tasked to kill Prince Harry.

Qari Muhammad Ahmadi, another press secretary of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stated on the website of IEA that the huge attack was retaliation against the anti-Islamic film against the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

The Mujahideen attack on the base resulted in killing and injuring dozens Western soldiers. He added that (Mujahideen armed with) RPGs destroyed several Apache and Chinook military helicopters and, also, a number of armored vehicles.

It is to be recalled that the NATO military command, as with their usual policy, announced that only two US marines were killed.

Reliable sources inside of the base are talking about dozens of occupational soldiers being killed during the attack. Pieces of their bodies are scattered everywhere. Fires were caused at different parts of the base. A fire, also, ignited the fuel depot, which caused material loses for the enemy to be very large.
