Caucasus Emirate: Russian army will not be able to reverse situation. Mujahideen are supported by local population

Publication time: 10 October 2012, 16:41

A gang of "national anti-terrorism committee" (NAC) said that the information that armed units of the Russian ministry of interior had been used against the Mujahedeen of Caucasus Emirate, was allegedly "not true", says Russian media outlets.

"No additional defense forces units were sent to the North Caucasus", declared, on behalf of "NAC", the first vice-speaker of the "council of the federation" Alexander Torshin.

"... As the head of the Caucasus Committee of the Federation Council, I am in constant contact with the leaders of the North Caucasus republics, and with influential public figures. And there is no talk among them that now there is a kind of large-scale anti-terrorist operations going on, and there are no talks about a movement of the troops", said Torshin.

Yesterday, the Russian media reported that there had been a battle using the air-support in the Khasavyurt district of Dagestan for two days, and that a forest near the village Dattykh of Sunzha district had been shelled non-stop. At the same time, the bombings of Urus-Martan district of Vilayat Nokhchicho had been continuing, as well.

"The situation in the North Caucasus is under control ... At the same time, such rumor suggest that we need to tighten the information content", lamented the invader.

The gang member of the NAC said that if large-scale hostilities would be taking place in the Caucasus Emirate, it would be impossible to hide them. "Even if the FSB controls all the media - there is still "an open information society."

"And in an open information society in the Russian Federation, it is almost impossible to conduct such an operation in secrecy", said Torshin.

We would like to recall in this connection that accumulation of troops and armored vehicles has been taking place for several months in Dagestan building up of troops and armored vehicles. Recently, the 7th Guards Airborne Division has been hastily transferred to southern Dagestan, from Novorossyisk. There are 6,000 soldiers in this division.

And just last week, special trains loaded with military armor and auxiliary equipment arrived to the area near Shamilkala (former Makhachkala).

None of the Russian media mentioned any of these facts. Therefore, the NAC gang is brazenly lying. However, the lies of the infidels have been known for a long time for the residents of the Caucasus Emirate. Local people can see war planes with naked eye.

They can hear the explosions of artillery shells, see columns of troops and armored vehicles constantly moving up the foothills.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear what causes these contradictory statements by Russian invaders, as recently Russian media sources told that "the decision on the participation of the units of the Russian army" is explained by the fact that "internal troops in the North Caucasus have suffered a significant loss of manpower and completely exhausted their reserves".

An "accidental leak" took place in 2011, when the martyrdom of 6 Mujahideen, including one woman, in a 30-hour battle in Shamilkala (former Makhachkala) was accidentally mentioned in the media. The Russian invaders revealed the state secret of the Russian Federation and published real casualties in Martyrdom attacks in TemirKhanShura (Buynaksk) in September 2010 and in Gubden in February 2011.

Here's a quote from that report: "In addition, according to available operational data, Magomedaliev was involved in the preparation of a suicide attack in September 2010 in Buinaksk (56 servicemen killed) in the village of Gubden (26 law enforcement officers were killed)". End of quote.

Recall that after the martyrdom operation in TemirKhanShura, the invaders claimed that only three soldiers were killed and 30 others injured. And after the attack in Gubden, the infidels announced that that 2 soldiers and a policeman were killed two and 30 others were wounded.

Curiously, data leaks happen, most likely due to the negligence of the authors of NAC press releases. RIA Novosti later tried to censor the leaks by removing the original text from their website. However, the Internet makes it impossible to remove something completely.

For example, information about the actual losses in Gubden in TemirKhanShura (Buynaksk) was kept in a reprint of these RIA News on the website Utro.Ru. And also in a reprint of the same agency reports on the website NewsMailRu, including the link and at many other sites. In addition, the Russian state agency ITAR-Tass news agency confirmed the message of the real losses in TemirKhanShura and Gubden on the English page of the site.

Meanwhile, the publication Public Post, describing the current situation in the Caucasus, says that the official military operations in the Emirate for 6 years were carried out by the gang MIA and FSB:

"According to the source PublicPost, among the security forces of the Kabardino-Balkaria, local police was almost never used: "They are, as a rule, considered in the initial planning. And intelligence work in recent years fails - 90% of the data is obtained from tapping phones and e-mail intercepts. "Thus, according to him, the local police and the FSB have tough competition, resulting in the lack of coordination, and special operations fail mainly at the stage of preparation.

If there was no inconsistency, the data would be transmitted first to the regional center to combat terrorism, and then higher - to the NAC. "It is clear, that if it came to the court trial, it would become impossible to find the guilty party, never mind proving their actual guilt", the source said. Source in the special forces said that the groups that are engaged with FSB in their dirty work are "Alpha" and "Vympel".

This is confirmed by a source in the law enforcement agencies of Dagestan. Indeed, even if you just go to the site of NAC, it is clear that the special operation has been held at least once a week. They only report about casualties if there are more than three killed", says the publication.

Moscow is experiencing severe problems in the Caucasus Emirate, says an expert on the North Caucasus from Carnegie Center, Mr. Alexei Malashenko. According to him, the army was needed in the region because "there is a war going on there."

"Those who are called criminals are, in fact, the Islamic opposition, that is fully supported by local population, emphasizes the expert. - Army will never succeed there. You need a dialogue, not a war".

Therefore, according to Malashenko, "The Kremlin is set to fail as they completely misunderstand the realities of the Caucasus and its people".
