Assadites continue heavy bombardment in major cities, undermining a truce intended to mark the Muslim Eid al-Adha holiday.
In the eastern city of Deir al-Zor, the suburbs of Damascus and in Aleppo, where the FSA hold big swathes of territory, mortar bombs were fired into residential areas on Saturday morning.
The bombardment came on the second day of a "truce" called by an international envoy.
The Assadites began firing mortars at 7am. There were 15 explosions per hour and two civilians killed during the first hour.
The FSA didn't break the truce and was only carrying out defensive actions.
