Province of Dagestan. Punitive raid on provincial village. Villagers pull kidnapped boys out of hands of invaders

Publication time: 28 October 2012, 10:41

Sources from Dagestan report that the army of invaders and their minions surrounded the village of Gimry by Saturday morning. Searchings of the homes of sleeping villagers began at 3 am.

In the course of this punitive raid invaders captured 5 young men. Upon learning this, the villagers using megaphones began to call on people quickly gather near the mosque.

Crowds of villagers gathered in the streets blocked the APC, two jeeps and an army truck with 30 invaders inside. Gimry villagers said they will not let the invaders leaver the village until they release the young men.

Invaders started fire into the air, trying to scare the villagers, but the shots did not affect the determination of people to free their fellow villagers.

Stones were thrown at military jeeps with the captured men inside. Windows of the vehicles were smashed. The situation was intensifying every minute.

Finally the frightened Russian invaders were forced release the men in and leave the village.
