Publication time: 30 October 2012, 14:22

Russian-made Alawite fighter jets struck liberated areas around the city of Homs.

Two freedom fighters were killed and 10 wounded on Tuesday at al-Mubarkiyeh, a village 6km south of Homs, where the FSA fighters had besieged a compound guarding an Assadite tank maintenance facility.

Elsewhere in Syria on Tuesday, heavy fighting and air raids took place in the northern province of Aleppo, where the FSA was surrounding an area where the headquarters of the Assadite air defense intelligence is located.

Russian warplanes bombed for the second consecutive day areas on the outskirts of Damascus.

Clashes on Monday left 130 people dead. On Monday, Assadites struck a bus in al-Hajar al-Aswad neighborhood in Damascus and left at least 10 Muslims killed.
