Saudis humiliated twice the ringleader of Russian gang diplomats

Publication time: 17 November 2012, 02:37

According to media reports, the differences on Syrian issue between Russia and other interested parties cause more and more Russian irritation, and a new attempt by Moscow to defend its position failed.

Misfortune befell the ringleader of Russian foreign ministry, Lavrov, who made a trip to Riyadh to take part at a ministerial meeting of the Strategic Dialogue Russia - Cooperation Council for the Arab Gulf States.

The Syrian issue was the main topic of discussions. Syrian opposition has just won its first diplomatic victory, being recognized by France.

Against this background, Lavrov paid a visit to Saudi Arabia on November 14. It did not start well from the very start. At the last minute, Riyadh airport refused to accept the plane of the Russian gangster. It almost landed on the strip, when the pilots had to take off. As it turned out, the Saudis changed at the last moment the airport to accept the Russian aircraft, without explanation,

And at the meeting, the Gulf ministers refused to hear a four-page report long report that Lavrov had prepared, and immediately went to the discussions. Speaking to reporters, Lavrov, in response to a remark by a Saudi journalist on the need of chase the Russian puppet Assad, said with irritation: "If the fate of Assad is most important for you, then the price for such a priority will be more victims".

The Russian gang minister was so angry that he refused to have a dinner with the participants and left Saudi Arabia with resentment.
