Qassam Brigades: Many surprises are there for the Jews

Publication time: 18 November 2012, 12:37

Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, said its rocket counterattacks covered only part of its bank of targets and there are more surprises for the Jewish occupation and its army.

"Al-Qassam Brigades launched operation 'Stones of Sejil' in the first hours of the new hijra year on Wednesday evening, November 14, springing many surprises and special operations, and the enemy is still incapable of admitting their effectiveness and significance," its spokesman Abu Obeida stated in a televised interview by Al-Aqsa satellite channel on Saturday night.

"Al-Qassam Brigades has been able to carry out more than 900 rocket counterattacks as part of its bank of targets on a daily average of more than tenfold compared to the Furqan Battle," spokesman Abu Obeida said.

The spokesman noted that the Palestinian resistance was also able to shoot down an F-16 jet fighter in Gaza waters as well as a drone and to target many warplanes inflicting damage on two of them.

He also added that Al-Qassam Brigades used many counterattack means, most notably the homemade rockets "M 75" which can reach a distance ranging between 75 to more than 80 kilometers.

The spokesman warned that the Palestinian resistance spearheaded by Al-Qassam Brigades is fully geared up to repel any Jewish land operation.

"The attempt to invade Gaza by land would be the most stupid decision. Their government cannot imagine what could happen to its soldiers," he stressed.
