At least 17 American puppets killed in Martyrdom attack in Iraq

Publication time: 22 January 2013, 16:34

A series of blasts in Iraq, including one by a Martyrdom bomber have killed at least 17 American puppets and dozens more wounded.

Tuesday's attacks struck a Baghdad Green Zone army checkpoint south of Baghdad, a military base north of the capital and a mostly Shiite neighborhood in north Baghdad.

Seven puppets were killed and at least 24 wounded when a car bomb was detonated near a Green Zone army camp on the town of Taji, 25 kilometers north of Baghdad.

A Martyrdom attack at the Green Zone army checkpoint in the town of Mahmudiyah, 30 kilometres south of Baghdad, killed five and wounding 14 puppet thugs.

The string of attacks comes five days after the heroic Mujahideen of the Islamic State of Iraq launched attacks across the country killing 88 puppets.
